PART TWO - FLORAL
Hello lovers, let's continue from the last Echo post, we are going to dig into the floral cost structure.

Florals are priced individually across our full floral guide (you can download the floral price guide from the contact page), but most couples just want to know the ballpark. Here's what typical florals come to at a few common guest counts, in general seapking:
~60 guests — around $4,400+GST Bridal party of 4, ceremony floral, aisle floral, signing table arrangement, welcome sign floral, bridal table arrangements, 7 reception centrepieces, gift table, bar arrangement.
~100 guests — around $5,300+GST Same as above, scaled to 10 reception centrepieces.
~150 guests — around $6,200+GST Same as above, scaled to 15 reception centrepieces.
All the estimated cost need to ADD labour cost on top of the flower cost, which reflex production, delivery cost, bump in and bump out, if applied.

LABOUR COST
The typical labour cost for a wedding in Sydney ranges from $1,000 to $3,000 plus GST, determined by the florists' hourly rate. This doesn't reflect elopements or million-dollar weddings. This cost varies based on factors such as the workload, setup time constraints, parking and loading conditions, and the complexity of the installation. Please note that more flowers will result in higher labour costs.
Based on our experience, labour costs typically account for about 25-35% of the floral services. For example, if you spend $4,000 on floral arrangements, you should expect to add approximately $1,300-$2,000 for the florist's labour to complete the wedding setup.
We separate labour costs from floral costs to ensure you receive the flowers you paid for, while the labour cost reflects the actual payments required for our freelancers, drivers, and anyone involved in your wedding. This allows us to fairly compensate the talented florists and ensure your wedding proceeds as planned.

Is it expensive?
Yes, we all concur that the rise in living expenses has made everything more expensive, including labour costs. This increase in expenses is not just a fleeting trend; it reflects a broader economic shift that has impacted various sectors. From the cost of raw materials to the price of services, every facet of planning and executing an event, such as a wedding, has been affected. A wedding isn't a solo endeavour; it requires teamwork and collaboration with various individuals. Each of these professionals brings their skills to the table, and as costs rise, so does the necessity to invest in quality services to ensure a memorable occasion.
One reason Fable remains strong in the industry is thanks to your support for all the talented florists out there. These florists are not just vendors; they are artists who pour their creativity and passion into every arrangement, helping to transform venues into breathtaking spaces. Their expertise is invaluable, as they navigate the challenges of sourcing the freshest flowers, designing stunning bouquets, and adapting to the ever-changing trends in floral design. The support from clients like you enables these florists to continue their craft, invest in sustainable practices, and innovate in ways that enhance the overall wedding experience.
Moreover, the collaboration required for a wedding goes beyond just hiring professionals; it involves a shared vision between the couple and their chosen vendors. This partnership is crucial in ensuring that every detail aligns with the couple's desires and expectations. As we all know, weddings are not merely events; they are significant milestones in people's lives, filled with emotion and personal touches. Therefore, the investment in quality services and materials is essential to create an unforgettable experience that reflects the couple's unique story.
In conclusion, while the rising costs associated with weddings may seem daunting, they also highlight the importance of supporting skilled professionals who contribute their talents to make these celebrations truly special. By choosing to invest in quality, you are not only enriching your own experience but also supporting an entire community of artisans dedicated to their craft.
WHY ISN'T THERE ONE FINAL TOTAL OR FINAL PACKAGE?

Each wedding's floral arrangements and add-ons are unique, reflecting the individual tastes and preferences of the couple as well as the overall theme of the celebration. To accommodate this diversity, we begin by providing an initial range of options and pricing that serves as a guideline for what can be achieved within various budgets. This preliminary range includes a variety of floral types, styles, and arrangements, allowing couples to envision how their dream wedding can come to life.
To ensure that we capture the specific desires and requirements of each couple, we offer a free consultation. During this consultation, we take the time to discuss in detail the couple's vision for their wedding day, including colour schemes, preferred flower types, and any special requests you may have. This personalized approach allows us to gain a comprehensive understanding of their expectations and helps us tailor our offerings accordingly.
After this in-depth discussion, we will then confirm or provide a precise quote that reflects the couple's choices and any additional add-ons they may wish to include. This might encompass elements such as centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, and decorative installations, all of which can vary significantly in terms of cost based on the complexity and materials involved. By doing so, we ensure that there are no surprises later on, allowing couples to plan their budgets with confidence and clarity.
Ultimately, our goal is to create stunning floral arrangements that not only enhance the beauty of the wedding but also resonate with the couple's personal style and preferences. This commitment to transparency and customization is what sets us apart and guarantees an unforgettable experience for every couple we work with.
